Thai Yoga Massage
Thai Yoga Massage, or Nuat Boran or Ancient Massage as it is known in Thai, is a combination of assisted yoga, acupressure, reflexology and physiotherapy. It involves the systematic massaging, stretching and positioning of the body parts in different yogasanas, that helps in relieving stress, promoting convalescence in case of injuries and certain ailments, as well as general wellness.
Guasa
The word “Guasa” is actually created by a combination of two Chinese words “gua” and “sa”. Guasa means ‘scraping’ in Chinese & “sa” actually refers to the toxic & dead cells that are accumulated beneath our skin. It eliminates harmful toxins, enhances blood circulation, strengthens immune system, visibly brightens the skin & slows down the ageing process.
Toksen
The first use of Toksen as a healing arts dates back to farmers of northern Thailand, and it is believed by some to date back to 3000 BCE. The tradition talks about how farmers who were exhausted after a hard day’s work used to revive each other by gently tapping a wooden wedge using a wooden mallet along the energy lines (Sen).
Mediative Singing Bowls
The IMOSHA method of Sound Therapy following the lineage of Master Shree brings together relaxing and therapeutic sound to achieve overall well-being. Singing Bowls are highly effective means for energizing or relaxing. It also enables a person to enter an altered state of consciousness which is similar to very deep meditation. This state also aid in therapeutic process.

We at IMOSHA practice and promote the therapeutic healing art of Amatarot, envisioned and practiced by Luampo Somboon, a Thai Buddhist monk who dedicated his life to developing the unique technique of bodywork and traditional Thai medicine.
