Thai Yoga Bodywork Advanced Level

Thai Yoga bodywork is a form of traditional Thai massage that combines elements of Yoga, Acupressure, and ancient Ayurvedic principles. It is also known as “nuad bo-rarn” in Thai language which means “ancient healing touch”.

In Thai Yoga bodywork, the therapist uses their hands, feet, knees, and elbows to apply pressure and stretches to the recipient’s body. The bodywork incorporates a series of Yoga-like stretches and manipulations that are designed to increase flexibility, relieve muscle and joint tension, and balance the body’s energy. The massage is typically done with the recipient in various Yoga-like positions, and the practitioner uses their own body to assist the recipient in stretches and other movements. The therapist may also use a variety of techniques such as compression, rocking, and vibration to help release tension and increase circulation. The goal is to create balance and harmony in the body, mind and spirit. Thai Yoga bodywork helps improve flexibility and range of motion, reduce stress and tension, increase energy and vitality, and improves overall well-being.
