Thai Yoga massage therapy has deep roots in ancient Ayurvedic medicine. It blends Ayurvedic principles, Yoga and massage techniques to create a unique system of healing that is powerful and effective. Considered as an alternative medicine, Thai Yoga massage therapy is both therapeutic as well as a meditative treatment. It combines stretching and body movements to loosen muscles, release tension and eliminate disease by unblocking the body’s energy flow pathways.

Thai Yoga massage therapy classes help practitioners learn how to integrate Yoga, energy healing, acupressure and meditation to relax and invigorate the receivers. By reducing stress and tension, the therapy helps achieve better health through holistic healing.

Thai Yoga massage therapists use their hands, knuckles, elbows and feet through a series of movements that stretches the receiver’s entire body. By applying pressure at precise points, they open and unblock the body’s energy channels or Sen. Thai Yoga massage therapy techniques work to loosen tight fascia and muscles. They help reduce pain, achieve greater concentration, improve circulation and promote relaxation and flexibility. Thai Yoga massage therapy also creates better awareness of the mind and body.

With the increasing demand for alternative medicines, touch therapies and self-care techniques are gaining popularity day by day. They are being seen as paths to achieve overall health and wellness.
